Fanime-Con

So who here has ever gone to a Con? of anykind Video-Con Fanime-Con ect ect

Hm...since I live in the pacific northwest of America...the only really large con by where I live is called Sakura-Con. I've been the last two years, but it's more family instead of Otaku oriented, so it's not the best one around. But it's pretty fun to go with my school's anime club...

@cocoalover ANIME CLUB! We don't even have anything like that. Myy school likes to make us study D:

I'm thinking about going to one but it would be my first. In Australia there isn't many anime oriented thing around.

My friends && I are thinking about cosplaying too. We are currently arguing which anime to go as xDD

Our school's also obsessed with studying and advanced placement courses (and then there's football, but that's another story. ) I honestly don't know how administration approved anime club. (Apparently last year was the first year...)

Cosplay is fun...but really really difficult sometimes. Like for me, I'm really short, so a character like Izaya or Shizuo from Durarara doesn't work out well...I almost went as Rin last year, but I couldn't get a costume in time...

Our school + football are best friends. Like we have such a good program for it that we are one of the schools that have most students go into professional football. o.o

Cosplay is fun....yet expensive so me and my friends are making ours. We are trying to find characters that we don't need wigs for xD
I considered going as Miku but her wig costs sooo much 0.0

I would like to go as Rin but the fact she shows her stomach scares me. I can't do that xD.

I'm average so going as Durarara!! chacracters would be sorta alright... Me & my friends considered going as them but one of them refused to dress as a man.

God I've written alot so I'll stop.

Haha. My school's the same way...It's not like I mind football, but I wish the other parts of our school, like our art and music had the same enthusiasm that our sports do. -_-

Ah,sometimes I don't know how some people can manage to pull of such amazing cosplays. Either they have to have a lot of money, or a lot of free time. (Why are wigs so expensive?!?!? They cost like half as much as the costume~ )

I really wished my school payed more attention to music since we have so many talented people in our school...

I know the Miku wig cost $60 and that was without the clips. and I was like "OMFG NO I'M NOT PAYING THAT MUCH!" :S xD
